Levels of
Chinese proficiency test
“Entry-level”
- 240 hours for studying Chinese in Taiwan (more than
6 months).
- Accomplish 480 hours of Chinese study in other
countries other than Taiwan.
- 800 words capacity and
entry-level grammar of Chinese are required.
“Primary”
- Accomplish 360-480 hours of Chinese study in Taiwan
or 720-960 hours in other nations.
- 1500 words capacity of Chinese is required.
Intermediate-level
-Accomplish 480-960 hours of Chinese study in Taiwan
or 960-1920 hours in other nations.
- 5000 words capacity of Chinese is required.
Advanced level
- Accomplish 960 hours of Chinese study in Taiwan or
1920 hours in other nations.
- 8000 words capacity of Chinese
is required.
